Comments: Mt. Hood Sunset, Mt. Hood, Oregon. I set off hiking from behind the Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood, Oregon on this evening in July only to find the trails buried in several feet of snow. I continued by picking my way as best I could across the slopes to the west side of the mountain just in time to watch the sky change from light pastels to these incredible colors
