The Papers

The papers used for our prints, unless otherwise noted, are a luster, matte, or watercolor finish (depending on the requirements of the specific image). These papers have been developed especially for use with these inks, and the paper/ink combinations give an archival lifespan in excess of one-hundred years -- far exceeding the life span of the average photographic print. Prints are sold rolled in a heavy shipping tube and are ready for matting and framing. Most of our images are sold as limited editions and are numbered. All are hand-signed by the artist.

Amazing Artist's Canvas Prints

This is one of the most beautiful and unique ways to display your images. You may opt to have your image selection printed on a true artist's canvas which is then gallery wraped over a 1.75 inch deep frame for dramatic effect. These prints have an amazing painterly look and feel because they are printed on real painter's canvas. All are coated with a protective ultra-violet spray. This coating allows you to display your images without glass, and yet they will still last a lifetime. Hanging hardware, corner bracing, and corner bumpers are included.

Framed Note Cards

Note cards are also available framed. Each framed card is matted in an acid-free white mat, mounted on acid-free backing board, coated with a UV protective spray, and framed in an 8 x 10 inch wooden frame. Framed note cards are one of the least expensive ways to own our prints and make great gifts. You may use the order form below to order framed note cards. Pricing is available on our price list here. These giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) cards are also available in boxed sets of ten of the same image. Envelopes are included. Each card has a brief description of the subject on the back of the card. The inside of the card is blank.

About Our Prints

David W. Kelley's West of the Moon Photography™ is proud to offer our imagery for sale as giclée prints (pronounced "zhee-clay"). To order, simply fill out our order form. The word giclée is French and means "to spray" as in spraying ink on paper. The giclée prints for sale here are created using state-of-the art ink jet printers utilizing pigment-based inks. The latest generation of pigment based inks represent a significant improvement over earlier inks, and these inks are different from the dye-based inks of most ink jet printers. The colors and range of tones are often better than what can be achieved using traditional photographic papers. Our prints are truly museum quality and will last a lifetime.

These prints are produced directly from David W. Kelley's Master Digital Files under his direct supervision. The sharpness and color of these prints are amazing, and they represent the state of the art in photographic printing. As always your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.

Fine-Art Note Cards

All of our images except for panoramas are also available as hand-signed fine-art giclée note cards sutible for framing.

Pricing

Size and availability of our prints vary. In general, prints are available in these approximate sizes: 8 x 12, 11 x 14, 12 x 18, 16 x 24, 20 x 30, and 30 x 40 inches. Panoramas are available in 6  x 18 or 12 x 36 inch sizes, and square images are sized at 12 x 12, 16 x 16, or 24 x 24 inches.
